What is Direct Primary Care?

Direct Primary Care (DPC) empowers patients to contract directly to doctors without needing insurance. As a result, DPC doctors can provide low-cost and high-quality membership care plans. If you have no insurance or if you are on a high-deductible health plan (HDHP), then Lamb Health DPC is perfect for you!

What if I have insurance?

Wonderful! You still need insurance for catastrophic coverage. Most of our members have insurance, which they then use for labs, medications, imaging, specialists, etc. For a low monthly fee, we offer our members amazing value with same-day or next-day appointments, longer visits, highly discounted meds and labs, private and exclusive number to text or call the doctor, and a whole lot more.

Lamb Health DPC aims to provide a much better model of care for the most important member of our medical team: YOU!

Proudly serving the community of Gilbert, Queen Creek, Chandler, San Tan Valley, and other surrounding towns and cities in Arizona.

How are we different?

Lamb Health Direct Primary Care is a Direct Primary Care practice. It’s a unique approach to healthcare and our patients love it. So, how are we different?

1

Fewer patients = more time for each patient

Traditional fee-for-service (FFS) clinics usually require a doctor to see over 20 patients a day. (Dr. Lamb sets a record of a whopping 50+ patients in a single day!) Since adapting direct primary care, Dr. Lamb has devoted more time for each patient, without needing to rush the appointment for his next patient. Usually, insurance companies encourage doctors to have the patient come in for multiple visits to increase billing. At Lamb Health Direct Primary Care, our members can discuss several medical issues in one appointment. Even if they are to come back for a follow up, you don't have to pay anything additional because all visits are covered under one low monthly fee.

2

No insurance? No problem!

We don't bill any insurance plans so you won’t have a middle-man in your primary care. Decisions about your healthcare will be made by you and Dr. Lamb, without the impersonal management that comes from third-party payers. Instead, patients pay a monthly membership fee which can save money and covers excellent treatment. Just keep an open mind, and you’ll see for yourself the value of this healthcare delivery model.
